Guelph Wellington Local Food promotes the procurement of local food by consumers and industry in order to preserve and enhance sustainable agricultural diversity in Guelph and Wellington County.

We produces the annual Buy Local! Buy Fresh! Map that highlights regional farms and markets that sell farm fresh food throughout the region.

It also features restaurants, caterers and other industry partners that bring local food to tables in Guelph and Wellington. It is your source on how and why to buy local in this region full of agricultural diversity. 40,000 copies of the map are available at local libraries, tourism offices, municipal government offices and select businesses throughout the region. We also have many annual events that highlight the culinary delights of our region including the Local Food Festival on June 7, 2009, Seeds of Change Food Tent at the Guleph Jazz Festival on Saturday September 12, 2009 and the Wellington Rural Romp Farm Tour on Saturday September 26, 2009.
